“Whoever loves me will keep My word, and My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make Our dwelling with him.” John 14:23
The problem wasn’t that Jesus had not revealed Himself; it was that people didn’t want Him. They wanted somebody who offered worldly things.

“Whatever you ask in my name, I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” John 14:13
This promise seems obviously false because almost everyone lacks a grown-up understanding of prayer.

“Believe in God, believe also in Me.” John 14:1
Jesus knows we can’t understand perfection. That’s why he says, “Trust me” There are many ways even lukewarm believers already trust Jesus.

“On the last day, the word that I have spoken will serve as judge.” John 12:48
The words Jesus speaks, every one, come straight from the Lord and Creator of the universe, the One who is Being itself. God is the judge.

“The Father and I are one.” John 10:30

“A thief comes only to steal and slaughter and destroy; I came so that they might have life and have it more abundantly.” John 10:10
Though Satan is fallen with respect to his will, he is not fallen with respect to his power. He is still an archangel.

“A good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” John 10:11
It is unfortunate that Churches speak little of the Devil. But he is smart and powerful and we should take him as seriously as Jesus did.

“As a result of this, many of His disciples returned to their former way of life, and no longer walked with Him.” John 6:66
We want a Jesus who will improve this life, and don’t care very much about the next.

“The one who feeds on Me will have life because of Me.” John 6:57
Although the eating Jesus was talking about was real eating, the food was not ordinary food.

“The bread that I will give is my Flesh for the life of the world.” John 6:51
“My flesh for the life of the world” is not a metaphor. It is literally true or meaningless.
