Mercy and forgiveness have always been available. All we need to do is claim them. Repentance is how we say "yes".

The information about reaching heaven is available now, and has been for a long time. Focus on that.

Teach them, encourage them, be an example to them, show them Jesus in you.

Being absorbed into the inner life of God does not mean we disappear. Quite the opposite, it makes us more apparent to the world.

Jesus didn’t do what they wanted. That’s how the crowds hated Him. They wanted the food and the healing, but they didn’t want God.

If Jesus isn’t really present in the Eucharist, then hell is all there is.

It isn’t God who throws useless lives into the flames – people are more than happy to do that. God certainly recognizes when a life is dry.

If Jesus is “of the same substance” as God the Father, then His love for us is the love of God.

When Jesus said, “The Father is greater than I” he meant that during his earthly ministry He was subject to pain, hunger, temptation, death.

Jesus knows we can’t understand perfection. That’s why he says, “Trust me” There are many ways even lukewarm believers already trust Jesus.

The Church grew after it became illegal b/c ordinary Christians took on the task of bearing witness to their families, neighbors, friends.

The words Jesus speaks, every one, come straight from the Lord and Creator of the universe, the One who is Being itself. God is the judge.
